0. About Nextdev Labs

Nextdev Labs publishes the Agentic Readiness Index — an independent leaderboard measuring how well AI coding agents can use third-party APIs. This page describes what data we collect in operating the Index, the public site at joinnextdev.com/labs, and any direct communications with us.

1. Information we collect

API vendors we benchmark
  • Publicly available information about the vendor (website, API documentation, SDKs, marketing material).
  • API responses, error messages, and webhook payloads generated by our benchmark harness while it runs against the vendor's developer-mode / sandbox endpoints. We do not access production environments.
  • Vendor-published methodology, changelogs, and policy documents we cite in the methodology page.
Contact and inquiry data
  • If you email us or fill out a form, we keep the name, email, employer, and message contents.
  • If you ask to be benchmarked or to dispute a finding, we retain the correspondence for record-keeping.
Site usage
  • Standard server logs (IP, timestamps, paths, user agent) — used for security and abuse prevention.
  • Privacy-conscious analytics (page views, country-level geo) to understand traffic. No cross-site tracking, no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting.
Benchmark harness data
  • Per-run telemetry — agent prompts, tool calls, wall-clock time, and per-assertion pass/fail. This is research data about the AI models we run, not about you.
  • Frontier-model API logs are subject to the provider's data-retention terms (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI). We do not feed user data into these models.

2. How we use information

  • Publishing the leaderboard, methodology, and per-vendor pages.
  • Improving the harness, grader assertions, and tasks.
  • Responding to vendor disputes, correction requests, and benchmark inquiries.
  • Operating and securing the site.

3. Information sharing

  • Scores, grades, and methodology are public by design — that is the product.
  • Per-run telemetry may be released as open data accompanying a research note. Personally identifying information is stripped first.
  • We share contact and inquiry data only with service providers that operate the site (hosting, email, analytics) and only as required to operate the service.
  • We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks.
  • We may disclose information if compelled by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nextdev, our users, or the public.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for authentication on internal admin tooling and for first-party analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

5. Third-party services

The Index relies on third-party services to function: cloud hosting, frontier AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI), vendor sandbox APIs, GitHub for the open-source harness. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not pass user data into vendor or AI provider APIs.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, restrict access to production data, and audit administrator activity. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach we will notify affected users in line with applicable law.

7. Data retention

Public leaderboard data persists indefinitely as part of the historical record. Contact and inquiry data is retained while we have an active correspondence and deleted on request. Site logs are retained for up to 90 days.

8. Your rights

If you contacted us and want your message deleted, or if you are a vendor and want a published benchmark reviewed or corrected, email team@joinnextdev.com. Subject to verification we will action requests within 30 days. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR; California residents under the CCPA.

9. International data

Nextdev is based in the United States. By using the Index you consent to data being processed in the US.

10. Children

The Index is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices materially change. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
